Our Story

The Kazcare Community Kitchen is an exceptional cooking school facility owned by local charity Your Angel and located on the beautiful Kazcare Kirkham Road property in Bowral.

We are delighted to tell the world that The Cook’s Cooking School is a Your Angel initiative established to help generate funds for the delivery of community cooking classes (for those living with disability and others in need of support), also held in The Kazcare Community Kitchen.

Led by Anna Phillips, local in-house cook / manager / presenter / food stylist extraordinaire, The Cook’s Cooking School is bringing Australia’s leading cooks, food editors and local producers to the Southern Highlands for a home cooking experience that is second-to-none!

All of The Cook’s Cooking School classes will be hands-on, unless otherwise stated. There will be 12 places per class and we offer evening, daytime and weekend classes so that everyone can have a taste of our cooking experiences. We also offer corporate classes and group bookings for friends and families who want to have some cooking / eating fun together. Remember, proceeds raised from our classes support a good cause… Your Angel charitable community programs.

“The passion and knowledge our guest presenters bring is exceptional. So many of us have been inspired by a recipe in any one of their magazines or cookbooks. I can’t wait to introduce them to our school.”

-Anna

What awaits you at The Cook’s Cooking School

When you arrive we will welcome you with a warm smile, apron and recipes for your class.

Our presenter cook’s will share their recipes, knowledge and stories, before we divide into pairs to cook the recipes provided. Our classes are a hands – on experience for maximum 12 people, unless otherwise indicated.
