Since 1988 I have been teaching and presenting cooking classes at the Sydney Seafood School, Essential Ingredient Rozelle, North Sydney Community Centre and my own private classes. Upon moving to Bowral in 2014 I have conducted cooking classes at a Local Café and presented and donated a class for the charity Lantern Group as a fundraiser. In 2009 I was engaged as the food editor and stylist for the Gourmet Pilgrim cookbook series. In 2016 Gourmet Pilgrim Mexico was awarded an International Gourmand award as Best in the World.
I have represented numerous brands with both live and TV presentations.
When I present food to any audience, I am excited and passionate to inspire one or more people to give cooking a go. I am often heard saying “I wear a Home Cook’s Hat” – which means I think about the ingredients, equipment, method and outcome of the recipe.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to be working with Your Angel Charity as the school manager to establish the Southern Highlands Community cooking school.
