Southern Highlands Evening Branch of CWA of NSW

The Southern Highlands Evening Branch of CWA commenced in 2011 in recognition that an evening group was needed in the Southern Highlands. Meeting on the 1st Thursday every month at 6.30pm, Mittagong rooms, Main Street.

Members meet to have fun, to learn about CWA and how it is helping Australians. They raise money to support both local charities and priorities of the CWA of NSW. It is a great place to be social and join with other women for the good of our local community.

CWA today is the largest women’s organisation in Australia in every state and territory, in cities and “the bush”. There are over 400 branches with over 10,000 members.

Women and girls work together to:

  • Make friends
  • Learn what life is like for other women and girls in Australia
  • Promote and improve conditions for a better life for Australian women and children.
  • Be a voice on current social or environmental issues in our local area.
